Keyboard Abuse

I've been using the same computer at work for about three years. And for some reason, the face of the "n" key has been completely worn off. The "m" key is kind of fading too. Why is that? I've only used the word "n" five times in this post. I've used triple the number of "t"s in this post and that key is fine.

Mine is the same way...my theory is that since 'N' is right below 'J' (a home key) and since the motion to hit the 'N' probably generally includes the point of your finger or your nail that this must be the reason for this trivial phenomenon. ...

My ''N'' key as well. The ''sliding motion theory'' sounds compelling.
